too bad

A couple of months ago I met a really nice guy in Tijuana. He had just moved to TJ from Hermosillo. Very cute, longest eyelashes ever, well dressed, nice manicure, had his own cigarettes and plenty of money. We spent a couple of days together and then he just disappeared. The other day I was going up the stairs at the local internet cafe when I saw this wanted poster. It was Efren, my "hermoso from Hermosillo". I guess I'm lucky he just disappeared. He's wanted for stealing laser visas, cellphones, cash and credit cards. Just a shame really...

Baby Jesus for Sale

This month, all along the block surrounding the Catedral de la Virgen de Guadalupe is the Fiestas Deciembras, which consists primarily of stalls selling figurines and other creche paraphernalia. The plastic wrapped baby Jesus display really caught my eye. Many of the stalls have packed it in now that Christmas is over, but the baby Jesus display is still selling little Jesuses (Jesii?) at what I will assume is a discounted rate.
